That just takes the biscuit.

Dan has not been his best today, his cold I think. He has had loads more suction than normal because he has been coughing and wretching. His mickey button (gastrostomy) is leaking also and turning round which is not supposed to happen so I think it is going to need replacing, well he has had it since last December and I think the surgeon said it is normal to get 6 months out of one.

We did have a nice day despite Dan being poorly, we coped. He didn’t sleep so was very tired and just kept crying, he spent alot of time on our knees to try and comfort him. He went to sleep in the car on the way back to the hospital and hasn’t woke up since.

On the way out from dropping him back at the hospital we walked past a pregnant woman talking to someone aggressively on her mobile. She was telling her friend how it was touch and go with her unborn baby and that it maynot survive. She was saying this at the same time as smoking a fag in her other. Now I am not against people smoking if thats what they want to do but it’s so sad that this baby may not survive, I just wish the woman felt enough about her unborn child to give up smoking for it!!!
