Danny has been on good form this last week, he is really starting to want to grab for things that are out of his reach so much so, he helped himself to a pair of scissors yesterday. He was quite pleased with himself waving them at his consultant and daddy. He also helps himself to tissues and pulls them out the box and then rips them apart. He thinks he is very clever and so he should.
I have been to PICU a couple of days this week, I still feel very much on edge around certain people but the rest of the nurses have been great. It has been so nice spending time with Danny although it has been nice theses last couple of weeks spending time with Tomas too. I miss Tom when I am with Dan and I miss Dan when I am with Tom. I can’t wait till we can all be together permanently. It will be a dream come true for us all. Tom asks most days if Danny is coming home today, thankfully I can say yes today. We have Kyle and Bridie today. Kyle finally got to open his presents and was quite impressed I think with what he got only we will never get a response from him now when we talk to him as we got him an mp3 player amongst other things and it is hard enough getting a response from him when he is on his gameboy!!! It was nice to see a smile on his face.
Tom has not been well either, he was sick on the bathroon carpet Thursday night so Daddy had to clean it up while I put Tom back to bed, normally it is the other way around. He seemed ok today but I kept him off nursery anyway just to be on the safe side. I did think he was sickening for somthing as the night before he got up three times in the night which isn’t him.
All in all it is nice having Dan home again although he is not feeling great. We went to costco and he was coughing loads and wretching alot which as you can imagine made him cry. When we got home we changed his tapes as they had worked loose and since then he has been better so we held off on the paracetamol. He is still feeling sorry for himself as he is full of cold, probably due to the 2 molars he has coming through at the moment.
Tom has gone to bed as Kyle woke up early this morning and Tom just can’t cope with it. He is only ever naughty when he is tired so we sent him off for a couple of hours rest. Kyle also had to join him as this morning he opened the curtains so that it did wake Tom up so he is not a happy camper at the moment!
