Teddy Bears Picnic

Dan has had a busy day today. He has been to a teddy bears picnic that was organised by the neo natal unit at the Nottingham City. It was so nice to see the old nurses who looked after him, Danny was oblivious to it all. I don’t think they could believe how good he looked as he didn’t look too swell when they last saw him. Tom had a whale of a time playing with the older kids as he always does.

We also went visiting to see a friend as it was their son’s birthday yesterday. Danny’s name sake actually! He did some entertaining there and then we came home for a bath as whilst we were at the teddy bears picnic, dan did the most explosive nappy ever and the baby changing was in use forever so I had to change him in the corridor. Tommy is very good and doesn’t splash until Dan gets out, we have him very well trained now. It is so nice bathing them together.

Once bathed and medicated we took Dan back to PICU, he fell alseep in the car, as always. Once again the unit has five patients and four staff so I just hope Dan behaves himself.

On a side note, excuse the lack of photo’s only our digital camera has broken which is a shame but it has served us well over the years.  So until funds permit, then a replacement will have to wait
