Nice to see you

This morning it was thunder and lightening and then at 5am Kyle decided he needed the toilet so Rob opened up the tent to a porch full of water so he then had to mop up, not a happy camper! We had to be off the pitch by 11am but Rob kept getting business calls so it was more like half past 11 when we left, the women was fine about it though. Rob had the task of putting the tent away and it wasn’t an easy one, especially as the ground was so mudding. After a 6 hr trek home and 6 toilet stops for the children, we finally arrived home at half 6 in the evening. Rob took me straight to the hospital to see Dan Dan.
When I got there Dan was sleeping, he looked so peaceful and big. I gave him a kiss and he woke up. He smiled at me and my heart melted. I have missed him so much. Although as a welcome greeting he did vomit......... twice. Thank sweetie. He was full of smiles for me and I spoke to the play specialist earlier and they said, he hasn't been a 100% but he has been happy and smilely so I think he might be getting over his cold. Hopefully the oxygen will now start and come down too. A couple of hours later Rob and Tom arrived, Rob had taken Kyle and Bridie back to their mum's. Dan was full of smiles for them too, he kept saying 'Da Da' which was sweet. Tom got in his cot and was playing with him. Tom always seems to have all the time in the world for Dan which is a credit to him as he could very easily be resentful and no body could have blamed him but he just loves Dan to pieces. Long may it last as him and Kyle, all they do is bicker. That's siblings for you.
There is still nothing more to report on the MRSA and Dan moving on from PICU although yesterday I did phone the community team about it and fast tracking Dans discharge. They said they will see what they can do.
