I have to ask myself whether there is a 12 week rule in the neonatal care world.  The reason for this is when Daniel started to reach 12 weeks old we were told that he needed an operation that had to be done at the Queens as the equipment needed was not available at the City.  Then as we all know once there it looked very unlikely that he was not going to be coming back to the City due to bed shortages and maybe needing to see certain specialists none of which was mentioned before his transfer.  Now we are back here coincidently the baby opposite Daniel has been moved to the hospital in her home town just in time for her to reach 12 weeks old.  This, I think, is too much of a coincidence not to ask ourselves is there some unwritten rule of 12 weeks then ship ‘ em out. But then at the end of the day this is still a business evan if our good ‘ol tax dollars do pay for it.
