Tiny little problem

Well today has seen a whole new set of problems here, not for daniel just for a change. Danny has done quite well today, seems to be pretty chilled but then he’s still heavily sedated. No the problems started because of accommodation here, after I left for work jules was approached and asked to leave her room and go back home as they needed it for someone else. As you can imagine after the experience of nursing care here, her back went straight up and said no. She was told that a family had come from Birmingham and needed the room to stay in and as we were only half hour away we would need to go. Again she said no and explained that the only reason he was allowed to come here for his operation was based on us being able to stay with him. Things degenerated down with it being put on Julie that they’re being able to stay was on her shoulders which is really unfair.

It ended with them going to see if they could accommodate her elsewhere. On their return they said they could accommodate her on the maternity ward. Julie asked if I could stay too and they said probably not, to which she said unless I could stay then she would be staying where she is. After the last two weeks of hell she needs some support. It was now when she started to get her hair off with it and said if they insisted on her leaving then she would take it to the press.
It was left with them to find out what they can do, eventually when they returned they said I could not stay there so we would have to stay in the room we were already in. Julie has just told me that they didn’t just want the one room but both the rooms for this family as the father has brought two people for support and they need their own room too.
Now I do understand and I really do sympathise with the position that they are in but they also need to understand the background of Daniel and also Julie’s history with this hospital have left us such that we cannot leave him here alone.
